The Demag Gearmotor System is the result of research, design and worldwide application success in a wide variety of applications, from simple reduced speed operation to precise motion control and positioning.
A new proven system The new Demag Gearmotor System of modular gearboxes and power options satisfies the full spectrum of gearmotor applications. It is based on years of engineering experience producing solutions to meet the most difficult high cycling, high performance requirements. It is a direct extension of technical expertise and experience gained with unique Demag Conical Rotor Brake Motors and gear drives, used around the world.
A new line of variable speed gearmotors, Demag “Indrive”, extends our line of Cylindrical Rotor Motors – with or without brake. And a new generation of gearboxes complement the proven Demag Conical Rotor Brake Motors and Demag Microspeed Drives. The result is
a system of custom solutions for the complete range of gearmotor applications; from general purpose to specialized high performance, high cycling and positioning applications. System capabilities range up to 8,850 lb.-ft. of torque, with horsepowers from
fractional to over 100 hp. Gear drive ratios range from to 3:1 to 500:1 with a full range of sing le or multiple speed motors. A wide variety of brake torque’s are available to satisfy stopping and positioning accuracy requirements.
