Demag KBK Jib
Cranes |
Improving work station efficiency is a major goal
in modern plant and industrial planning. Demag KBK Jib Cranes offer new
alternatives
to standard I-Beam Jib Cranes. Through the use of a light weight jib boom, high
quality mounting bearings and low runni ng
resistance
load trolleys, the KBK Jib Crane has permitted up to a 40% increase in work
station efficiency. When combined with a Demag DK Chain
Hoist, DKM Manulift or one of our new Demag DBS Air Balancers, a KBK Jib Crane
can form the basis for the improvement of in-plant handling to meet today’s high
production requirements.The basic jib
crane component is the Demag KBK 100, I or II track section; field proven for
many years in Demag KBK Crane and Monorail installations.
The jib assembly includes a load trolley for
the hoist, bumpers and end stops, cable sliders and capacity plates. All
components, including the pillar, jib boom and wall brackets are mass
produced to insure uniform high quality.
KBK Jib Cranes are designed for easy
installation; in most cases in-plant personnel can install each crane in less
than a day. Most crane orders consist of only three parts (less anchor bolts)
for off-the-shelf delivery.
