Performance - Demag has
developed an innovative hoist with performance in mind.
The Demag hoist is standard with high lifting speeds of 48, 32, or 24 fpm
proving you the performance required for today's high
production environments. For your high production needs, where
accuracy is a must, the Demag DC-Pro and DCM-Pro are equipped with a second slow
speed (4:1 ratio high to low). Due to an innovated control system the DC-Pro
Chain Hoist is ideal for your high cycling applications with a starts per hour
rating of 360. Reliability - Your
production should not be slowed due to an equipment breakdown. That is why
Demag developed their new DC-Pro Chain Hoist and DCM-Pro Manulift to operated at
a FEM 2m+ (1900 full load hours), which means 20% more service life than HMI H4
rating.
Each hoist is designed with a 5 or 6 pocket sprocket; this provides a smooth
operation which increases with operator's load handling efficiency. The DC-Pro1,
DC-Pro2, DC-Pro5, DC-Pro10 and DCM-Pro models are all reeved 1/1; this increases
the life span of the chain and duration of time between scheduled maintenance.
Your production will not be halted due to a brake failure. By utilizing a
regenerative breaking circuit, the brake is designed to last the lifetime of the
hoist. The operational and fault code display for planning maintenance around
your production schedule.
Demag's unique operational and fault code display reduces your production down
time by identifying the source of the problem.
Safety - Protect your operators from costly
injuries by utilizing Demag's DC-Pro and DCM-Pro standa rd
safety features.
The hoist is standard with two lifting speeds providing the operator with the
ability to use the slow speed to position those difficult to maneuver loads.
The hoist is equipped with a slip clutch to
prevent it from encountering an overload condition. The standard
upper and lower limit switches prevent driving the bottom block into the bottom
of the hoist. Thus, protecting the slip clutch
from unnecessary wear, which limits its ability to prevent an overload.
The pushbutton operates at 24 volts limiting the operator's exposure to
dangerous high voltage. The pushbutton pendant can be adjusted in the
filed to an ergonomically correct position
in relation to the operator. A
pushbutton correctly adjusted, reduces the risk your operators face from
repetitive motion. The Demag hoist
under 4000 lbs. capacity are designed utilizing single fall chain drops, which
reduce hazardous pinch points inherent to 2 to 1 reeved hoists. The
internal diagnostics of the hoist monitors many of the safety features such as
the slip clutch, brake wear, and phases. The monitor provides data, via an
infrared signal to your PC, notifying the user of a possible breakdown before it
happens.
Maintenance - All
hoists require some maintenance, but Demag has made it easier.
Many of the replacement parts are of a modular design which, minimizes the time
to repair the hoist. In addition, the modular design improves the hoists
reliability because, you are not solely replacing the worn components but all
the related parts as well. The hoists are designed with maintenance panel
providing your service personnel easy access to the chain set,
quick-disconnects, and an adjustable
pendant cable. Demag centrally locates all the mechanical components
behind one panel and the electrical components behind another IP55 (outdoor
rated) enclosure.
