Series Rotomac 200 
 Series Rotomac 200 HT  
Duff-Norton's Series 200 and Series Rotomac 200HT are available in single and dual flow models for use with steam, water, or hot oil.  Dual flow models are available for use with either fixed or rotating syphon.  

Series Rotomac 200 and Rotomac 200 HT are offered in sizes from 3/4" - 4 " for use in paper, textile, rubber, plastic and other applications.  3/4" - 2 1/2" models are available with either threaded or flanged shaft.  3" - 4" models have standard flanged shafts. 

Both Series are suitable for use at pressures up to 340 psi (24 bar) and speeds up to 600 rpm.  Series Rotomac 200 HT high temperature models can be used for hot oil and other heat transfer fluids at temperatures up to 680°F (360 °C).  

All Series Rotomac 200 and Rotomac 200 HT have two graphite bearings for maintenance-free operation at higher pressures and speeds.  The stainless steel shaft is designed with an indicator groove to indicate wear of the seal ring and when this part needs to be replaced.  the mechanical seal in the Series Rotomac 200 and 200 HT is a carbon graphite seal ring against a stainless steel face ring.  A helical coil stainless steel spring preloads the seal face to ensure stable operation in low pressure applications.

The stainless steel shaft has an indicator groove on the outside diameter to indicate when the carbon graphite seal ring should be replaced.  Measure the distance "S" (see diagram at left) and compare to values below.  When "S" exceeds the stated value, the seal should be replaced.
